Reebok's making moves.

The sneaker world as we know it is bursting full of creative minds... But this week, Reebok really put their stamp on the industry, by announcing that they have appointed Kerby Jean-Raymond as their new Vice President of Creative Direction.

Kerby is certainly no stranger to the brand, as since 2017 he has been connected with them through the Reebok by Pyer Moss collaborations, so we can only see their working relationship going from strength to strength.

Kerby Jean-Raymond

Jean-Raymond is the founder and designer of Pyer Moss. He will continue with this role, whilst reshaping & reimagining the creative concepts for Reebok going forward.

Sneaker lovers will have to be patient though, as Reebok revealed that the first designs under Kerby’s creative direction won’t be available until 2022 - but I have a sneaky feeling that they will be well worth the wait!

‚ÄúI welcome this opportunity to help invigorate the brand with new ideas‚ÄĚ

The brand announced the news on Instagram this week, with a cluster of posts, then the Pyer Moss founder quickly confirmed this on his page too with an almost identical post.

I personally am so excited for this partnership to grow, and cannot wait to see which direction the brand heads in!
