Sail - Was anybody else beyond excited to get a sneak peek of the official images of the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Sail" that surfaced this week? This collab has been long awaited, and sneaker lovers everywhere were lucky to get a glimpse of the elusive pair this week, ahead of their release on July 25th. These beige beauties have adopted some of the classic Off-White markers such as the "AIR" and "SHOELACES" lettering, clear panels, and of course the plastic zip tie tag. Expected to sell out within seconds like most of Virgil Abloh's Jordan & Nike collaborations, these are set to be one of the most sought after pairs of the summer.. Or even the year.

On the Rise! Sneaker and streetwear marketplace StockX reported this week that they have had their biggest sales figures to date in May and June 2020. With many companies and brands taking a hit due to Coronavirus, the reselling platform appears to have performed better than ever over the past 2 months. The 3 top players they have to thank for this are the Air Jordan 13 'Flint', Air Jordan 1 'Royal Toe' and Air Jordan 5 'Fire Red'. These pairs alone made $25million in gross merchandise value. It seems that now is the time for resellers to thrive!

The Last Dance - We're all suffering withdrawal symptoms from Michael Jordan's career following documentary 'The Last Dance' lately right? So when I found out this week that some of his most historic Air Jordan game-worn exclusive sneakers were being put up for auction, it was super exciting to feel like we had another glimpse back at the popular doc again. The online auction is set to go on from July 30th - August 13th, with 11 rare Air Jordan's up for grabs. Also, an amazing reason to wish you happy bidding, is that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, who's mission is to achieve racial justice & equality.

NBA Bubbles - If you're anything like me, you may have had a slight panic hearing this week that the NBA tried to put a stop to the famous NBA tunnel outfits. Players were told that they were to arrive to practice in warm up gear, as they're currently being protected in 'Bubbles', with COVID19 still being very prominent in the US. With Basketball players being some of the most influential figures in the sneaker world, this was a sad story to hear that we wouldn't be able to see their outfit drip and grail footwear each day. But thank goodness, they appear to have had a sudden change of heart, and now the likes of LeBron James & P.J. Tucker can get back to styling up their sneaker game and getting fly in the tunnel for all our viewing pleasure... I cannot wait!
