Now that I have lived in the UK's home of Carnival Notting Hill, it is now in my blood to get ready for carnival. I also love pink hair, and this is an excellent time to colour my hair pink. Why not.

This year carnival is cancelled and gone online. Dull, and now parties over 30 are outlawed in the UK.  Now that we have to create our own party for yourself and be creative. So if you want to dare to be different like me, colour your hair with the following products.

Color Psycho

If your hair is already bleached blonde, then OSMO Color Psycho Wild Pink and Wild Yellow is the brand for you.  This one did not take that well in my hair, but my friend who's hair had blonde tips it worked on. Find it at  www.sallybeauty.com.  This vegan and cruelty-free are great for the prices.

The semi-permanent hair colour cream in 14 outrageous and rebellious shades makes wild feel like fun, rather than work. The ready to use formula is ammonia and peroxide free, and even conditions hair as the vibrant colour is deposited. The semi-permanent colours will last up to six weeks depending on the hair condition and how often hair is washed. We tried the Wild Fushia and mixed it with red.

The Essentials for Carnival Colour Hair at Home

I have decided to wear braids, so I bought blond and dyed the hair with the pink to give it that carnival rave colour I dreamed of.  Now carnival ready even though the party will be in the garden with my mates.
