What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the name “Wrangler”? Probably a well-fitted pair of jeans or a funky denim jacket. Wrangler is synonym of freedom and individuality and its garments embody revolution and love for their western heritage, culture and… denim!
Their designs are nothing but a homage to the brand’s history and story and the durability, quality and authenticity of the products precede them.
The American brand made their first pair of jeans in 1947 which were designed by celebrity tailor Rodeo Ben and by 1992, Wrangler becomes the leader denim brand in the US where one out of every four males was wearing a pair of Wrangler jeans. The label is well-known for not only being a pioneer but also for preserving their western essence until today.
“Our history runs parallel to the rise of the country, our jeans worn by the same people who built it.”
Wrangler is well-known for being a respectful brand towards the planet and every decision made by the team is thorough considered and committed to be as respectful to the land as possible.
“We continue to explore new ways to care for the land that feeds and clothes us, our partners and workers in our supply chain, and our neighbours across the world.”
In the year when it should have been Bob Marley’s 75th birthday, Wrangler has partnered with the legendary artist’s family to not only celebrate him but also honour his legacy.
The American brand has launched a 11-piece limited-edition capsule collection that includes T-shirts, jackets and shirts.
Every piece is beautifully designed with vibrant colours, retro prints and photographs of the Jamaican legend which praise his soul and commemorate his lasting influence.
Bob Marley sadly passed away in 1981 leaving us with a lifetime soundtrack to go to when we need to be assured that everything’s gonna be alright. Marley is considered one of the pioneers of reggae and his music and trajectory gave visibility to Jamaican music and culture.
It is undeniable that Bob Marley is an everlasting icon and his way of living and sense of spirituality is remembered and celebrated every day by his fans.
Moreover, Wrangler will donate $25,000 to The Bob Marley Foundation, a Jamaican non-profit organisation which focus on Education, Music & Culture, Environmental Protection and the health and well-being of the Rastafarian community.
